A few weeks ago Baby Sietstra's aunties threw us a baby shower back home in Northwest Iowa. It was great getting together with family to celebrate our baby boy...our baby will be VERY loved by all in our family! Aunt Rachel & Aunt Cara planned an alphabet baby topic game and a nursery rhyme themed game. We also played a game where the guests cut a piece of yarn guessing how big my belly was. What most of us didn't realize was how difficult it would be to guess how big of string to cut! They also made some delicious brunch food and we had a great time opening gifts. The theme was a "necessity shower" so the gifts were centered around things we would use often when he is born. We received some very cute clothes, a diaper genie, homemade blanket & hangers, a bath basket, diaper bag, and the carseat/stroller! Again, our baby boy is and will be very spoiled! We're so thankful for such supportive and loving families to bring our little bundle into. With these people surrounding us we have no doubt that our child will be raised in a God-loving family!
