Gulf Shores vacation
A few weeks ago we took a wonderful trip to Gulf Shores, Alabama with my parents & 3 brothers. It was an 18+ hour drive (yikes!) but the kids did remarkably well considering the long drive. We stayed in hotels two nights on the way down, then one night on the way home...it ended up being a great way to break up the trip and give everyone a much needed break from driving!
When we got to Gulf Shores our house was right on the Gulf of Mexico and we had a wonderful week relaxing! The weather wasn't as great as we would have liked, but we still had many great days playing in the sand.
