8 months

Baby Kase (as he is affectionately called at the babysitter's), turned 8 months old a few days ago! He is changing SO much and growing SO fast these last few weeks. As you can see from a previous post, he's very close to crawling, and doesn't spend much time sitting anymore. As soon as I set him down on the ground he's on his belly reaching for things! He has figured out that scooting backwards and twirling in a circle will eventually get him the toy that he wants. He LOVES going to the babysitter's house and seeing all of his friends, and loves trying out my homemade baby food! I've ventured into the time-consuming, yet rewarding task of making homemade baby food, and I must say, I enjoy it immensely! I'm thinking of going into the business of homemade baby food...Keith will be my sous-chef! :) Kase is a trooper and usually likes just about everything that I make. If the first few bites don't go so well, a little nutmeg and apple juice in the mix do wonders! I don't think he knows what he's doing yet, but Kase has also started waving (very cutely I might add), likes playing "catch," and banging toys together or on any other hard surface! Enjoy some pictures of our 8-month old!

"HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII! It's so good to see you!"

There is no news yet on the sale of our house, but we're hoping it'll happen very soon. We're told that with the spring coming it should get some more traffic through! A few times we've advertised in the local newspaper, and have many hits on our house website, but no lookers lately. Hopefully soon! We're both extremely tired of driving 80 miles a day, but know that our timing is not God's timing!
